Thank You

Sulcatas:

Tank (800g) & Spike (20lb): They were adopted from SDTTS beginning of Fall of 2007. Gary Burrows from El Cajon is in charge of fostering Sulcatas and he has a LOVELY home to foster them in. I have been to his house many times and I am impressed each time. He cares for them so MUCH that it motivated me to do the same. Tank and Spike were not put together given their size when Gary was looking out for them but I gave it a shot when I brought them home. Like what I expected, they live well together, but Tank always wants to turn Spike over. I would laugh when this happens because I can imagine Spike looking @ Tank and think "You have got to be $hitin me!", haha. <--- (Direct Quote) That's what Gary told me as well.

* Update (8/08/08) *

Dozer (5lb): I just got him last week (4/14/08) from Gary, AGAIN! : )  Dozer is DOZER! He likes dirt and eats a LOT! Doesn't sleep as much as Tank or Spike because he likes to be out all day, eat and push things around. Haha. His pictures and any other new snaps that I will take from now on will all just go to Photo Gallery.

Leopards:

Humphrey (700g): Adopted out from Cara Leech after Tank & Spike. She's a really nice person to talk to. I think she must have graduated from San Diego State University by now. Anyhow, Humphrey is a VERY nice looking Leopard (bottom right). Even with a little deformity on the top of the shell due to lack of sunlight, his shell is very shiny, appearing as if it had been waxed. I am sure he would love it here with his two Leopard friends and plenty of grass to eat. His shell should grow properly from here on out because he will get PLENTY of UV Light outdoors. He's a bit shy still; always hiding.

Beans (400g) & Marbles (450g): Adopted from James, who does Medical Research in La Jolla, California. Very nice fellow. Beans and Marbles have such great beauty when it comes to shell development. Their shell feels flat, no lumps, and shell has an ancient look, very unique indeed.

Desert:

Sally (600g): I bought her from Andrew's father along with the Lady Amherst Pheasant Pair about 6 years ago. She's about 6 years old now but she didn't grow very big. Anyhow, her shell is perfectly normal and in good condition. This breed is rather becomming endangered VERY rapidly and I know there are many clubs out there trying to preserve them. I am doing my best with her. The shots here are when she's runing around with the Baby Sulcatas that I used to have.
