Well I won't be able to see them until probably Saturday, but hopefully there is at least one of each (sex), because that's really all that matters. As far as the money goes, all I ask is getting what I paid for, so there shouldn't be a problem there. Prince and Luck seem to be quite well! My son held Prince for quite awhile and he was really calm and sweet...he crowed a lot today, too. :-) I think he may hear another rooster in the far distance and was trying to out-crow him! LOL
Luck didn't lay an egg today, but she was probably a bit stressed from the ride. I think she'll get used to being here in a few days.
Thanks for the info about the oil! That's a great solution to keep the bacteria from growing. I will do it tomorrow, and start doing that on our other poultry, as well. None of our previous chickens ever had a problem, that I know of, but I'd rather do prevention than have to try and cure something. We can also do a weekly check on all of their overall condition at the same time we do the oil on the legs.
I'll try to take a picture of them in their new yard as soon as I can, and you are welcome to come by for a visit anytime. :-)
