Rest In Peace My Beloved Romeo. We All Miss You Dearly

Born: Nov. 28, 2004

Taken Away: Nov. 28, 2008

Romeo got attacked and died this morning, at approx. 5:45AM. Today was supposed to be my "Little Romeo's" 4th Birthday. He woke up earlier than usual and went outside to go to the bathroom and a Raccoon attacked him. We have no idea what happened outside but from the scene and marks on Romeo, my family and I predicted that the raccoon attacked him from behind because we heard no noise, no yelp, and no cry. Romeo is VERY healthy and VERY active, always barking at any sign of trouble or to scare away things that threatens him, but this morning, nothing. It really broke our family's heart because we just had a great Thanksgiving prior to Romeo's attack in the morning. Romeo enjoyed Thanksgiving as much as we did. He ate turkey, played with us and the last time I felt his warmth was when he was sitting on my lap as I was typing on my laptop that night. My mother misses him the most and cried ever since she found out about it. What a tragic day for us.

A Message To Romeo From Me:

My little bro - that is what I always think you as - I will miss you dearly and even though I know you are in a better place now, I can never forget the fun times you had when you lived. You are one happy little boy because you always play, run around, and live every moment of your life fully, enjoying every moment of it. Even though you lived for only four years, I can finally see how meaningful you made those four years to yourself and to your family (us). That made me realized that the next day is very unpredictable so don't make any mistakes, have no regrets, and love everybody. You taught all of us a valuable lesson that we will never forget. We should be happy with our lives no matter what or who we are or what we have become; make every moment worth it. Thank You Romeo for being such a great family member and you will always be in our hearts. I will especially miss your playfulness and your good heart.

- Big Bro Tommy Always

All About Romeo: I bought Romeo when he was only 2 months old; when he was about the size of an adult rat when I got him. Haha. Romeo was under 1 pound for sure and was a surprize gift for my mom back in 2004 when I though I was heading out to college far away from home. I wanted to get my mom a pet so she won't be bored while I'm away. My siblings all moved out and they didn't have any kids then so it was just our small family of 7, with Romeo, we now have 8. : )

Romeo was born on Nov. 28, 2004

He's is about to be 4 years old now but as you can see from the picture, he still looks adorable as always...who says dogs don't look as cute when they are all grown up??? Haha

Hopefully I can get him a mate when we get a bigger house.

For now, he is a great part of our family so he shouldn't worry too much about being lonely.

My Mom even gives HIM the heated blanket first when it gets cold...she didn't ask ME if I was cold!!! Haha...Its ok Mom, I still love you.

Romeo playing "TAG" with my nephew James. He's only 16 months old and look @ him go!!!!
