I currently have the: Northern Bobwhites (Colinus virginianus), Georgia Giant Bobwhites, White Bobwhites, California Valley Quails (Callipepla californica), Gambel's Quail (Callipepla gambelii), Mountain Quail (Oreortyx pictus), Blue Scaled Quail (Callipepla squamata), Japanese Quail (Coturnix coturnix), & Asian-Blue Quail (Coturnix chinensis).
They are all so beautiful and tamed. Even when I come inside the cage to feed them, they just run on over and as a group to share eatting the foods rather than flying around all crazily like some other ones I see. Its perhaps because I got them all so young and some I even hand fed so its plus. These quails all love greens, especially lettuce. I love their calls and sometimes I let them out free and they would fly back to their pens at the end of the day.
Its unusual but hey...they are birds from ~ Tommy's Pet Paradise ~, they HAVE to be unique. Haha...
